Catherine Joule received a scholarship to study with Teresa Cahill at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, after graduating with a BA (Hons) in Music from Anglia Ruskin University.

 

Recent performances include Schumann's Frauenliebe und -leben, (Mumford Theatre, Cambridge), a recital of Sibelius for the Torch Nordic Trust  (Exeter College, Oxford University) and Beethoven's Mass in C with Anglia Chorus at Saffron Hall, Essex.  

 

Whilst studing at Trinity Laban Conservatoire, she performed Mahler's Fourth Symphony with the Trinity Laban Wren Ensemble (Old Royal Naval Chapel, Greenwich, London) and the title role in Purcell's Dido and Aeneas as part of the Brandenburg Choral Festival (St. George-the-Martyr, Borough, London).

Catherine has an interest in contemporary music, and has worked with a number of composers on new commissions in her home county of East Anglia, including three settings of Primo Levi poetry by Paul Rhys.
